Undercabinet lighting is hidden lighting that adds warmth and productivity to your kitchen environment. Undercabinet lights allow you to maximize your counter space, eliminate dark spots, and improve the general look and feel of your kitchen. With all the time we spend in the kitchen, it makes sense to light the room in as warm and as welcoming a fashion as possible.

At Illumenate, we offer three kinds of undercabinet lighting: strip lights, disk or puck lights, and linear lights. These lights use either Halogen or Xenon bulbs, with many people preferring Xenon bulbs because they are much cooler (in terms of heat). Each of our Xenon bulbs has a 10,000-hour life and can easily be installed into any undercabinet lighting system. An excellant choice is the xenon task light from NSL, available in four sizes and 6 finishes.

Under Cabinet Lighting in Low Voltage Styles

We carry low voltage and line voltage strip lights, depending on your energy consumption preference. These strips are perhaps the most versatile undercabinet lighting fixture we sell. Most don't require separate transformers and all feature multiple knock-out notches for customized bulb placement. These sorts of features make undercabinet lighting easy and quick.

Disk (or puck) lights can be recessed or surface mounted lights that sit flush against the bottom of your cabinetry. They feature metal trim that can be chosen in a variety of colors and shades. Linear lights are inexpensive tools that can be used to artfully accentuate countertops and lower cabinetry. Sea Gull features durable linear lights that are made with anodized aluminum reflectors on heat-resistant polycarbonate for a long-lasting lighting experience.
