The LED exit sign is constantly illuminated by normal AC power.
Whenever normal AC current fails, the internal solid state transfer
switch automatically connects the internal battery to the LED lamps to keep the exit sign continuously lit for 90 minutes.
When AC power is restored, the battery is recharged by the onboard solid state charger and is accomplished within 24 hours

Self-Diagnostic Features
* Monitor Battery Disconnection, charger failure, lamp failure, and transformer fault at every 5 seconds without discharging battery or illuminating lamps.
* Automatically indicates lamp, battery and charger status by dual-color LED lamp.
* Used dual color LED lamp to minimize space for LED lamp on the fixture.
* Factory preset - does not need field adjustment.
* Integrated function - Fire alarm (6V) function is integrated in Self-Diagnostic option.

Automatic Test
* Verifies battery disconnection, charger failure, lamps failure, and transformer failure at every 5 seconds
* One minute self-testing every month.
* 30 minutes self-testing on the 6th month of the year.
* 90 minutes self-testing on the 12th month of the year.
