Energy saving fluorescent products are available in chandeliers, pendants, wall sconces, vanity bath lights, ceiling mounted fixtures, recessed cans, outdoor lanterns, and more using compact fluorescent light bulbs and circle line lamps. |
ENERGY STAR Lighting Fixtures |
| ENERGY STAR lighting fixtures generally use pin-based light bulbs, which do not screw into the socket, are brighter and have the added benefit of longer lamp life. The pin-based light bulbs that are utilized in ENERGY STAR lighting fixtures are made and tested to last for 10,000 hours, as compared to 6,000 hours for screw-in light bulbs. |

| While ENERGY STAR qualified ceiling fans use improved motors and blade designs, you can dramatically increase your savings with ENERGY STAR qualified lighting. If your fan doesn't include lighting, be sure to purchase an ENERGY STAR qualified light kit. This lighting is efficient and long lasting, so you won't have to make frequent bulb changes. |
