 There are several positive reasons to use LED Lighting. First, LED's have no filament that will eventually burn out. Because the LED's produce very little heat, they can be encased in a plastic bulb, making them more durable. In a standard light bulb much energy is wasted to produce the light through the heating of the filament. Energy efficient LED's last long and are energy efficient. In recent years, the dropping cost of LED's has made the production of consumer lighting products more widely available.
