ICHIME CONTROLS
RECORD BUTTON
In USER mode, press and hold REC to record into any of the six selections. The LED will light during recording. To erase a location press and release REC briefly (within 1/2 second).
BUILT-IN / USER SWITCH
Selects between dozens of built-in sounds or user recordings.
PLAY BUTTON
In BUILT-IN mode, plays the next built in sound within the selected category. To select only the current sound, press and hold PLAY until you hear a beep.
In USER mode, plays the user recording in the selected posiiton. A beep will play if nothing is recorded.
SELECTOR DIAL
Selects one of six different built-in categories or one of six user recordings.
VOLUME SWITCH
Selects one of four volume levels, from soft to loud.
MIC IN
Used for recording your own sounds. Excellent results can be achieved simply by speaking into the microphone, or holding the unit 8 to 10 inches away from an audio source. Press and hold the REC button to make the recording.
AUDIO IN
Audio can also be recorded by connecting a 1/8 inch audio jack from your PC, CD, or MP3 player here. Audio will be heard through the iChime speaker. Press and hold the REC button to record the portion you want.

BUY ICHIME
iChime Auxillary Speaker
Includes all the songs and sounds listed in the sound library plus allows you to record up to six of your own sounds. Requires 4 AA alkaline batteries (not included). Standard white color, mounts horizontally or vertically.
Measures 5" x 7 3/4" x 2".
This optional speaker can be wired to the main unit in order to hear the chime in another room. Up to two auxiliary speakers can be wired to the main iChime unit. It is in the same housing as the iChime itself, but with the electronics removed. No batteries required.
